Are you feeling spiritually adrift or unsettled? Do you want to experience The Holy One in a fresh, new way? Are you not sure what you believe and want to explore in a safe, non-judgmental space? These are some of the places in life that lead individuals to Spiritual Direction or Spiritual Companionship. A Spiritual Director actually doesn’t “direct” at all. Instead, she or he is your companion, the person that travels with you on the journey, the person who listens deeply and understands you, the person who asks you deep questions to help you explore.

Bradley Davidson is a Spiritual Director/Spiritual Companion in Oklahoma City but he can work with clients anywhere by phone or Zoom. He is the son of a Christian pastor, an executive coach by occupation, and experienced as a spiritual and lay leader within his community of faith. Bradley is committed to his own spiritual journey. As a result of his deep personal and spiritual seeking, he recently transitioned and was confirmed into The Episcopal Church, where he now finds his spiritual home.

Bradley is passionate about accompanying each individual on their unique and diverse journey toward The Holy or whatever name they use to describe their spiritual center. He extends holy hospitality to all spiritual travelers regardless of age, race, gender or other characteristic including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. Bradley says, “You are welcome and embraced here.”

How does Spiritual Direction work?

Bradley explains Spiritual Direction this way, “Because I believe that each of us is the Beloved of God, I offer you spiritual companionship and a safe space for sacred conversation as you deepen your awareness and experience of the unconditionally loving and liberating Holy One.”

Similar to personal coaching, the time you spend together is focused on what is important to you. As Bradley says, “the topic of our conversation is always yours and God’s to choose.” By being fully present, practicing holy listening, and offering insightful questions, Bradley invites you to think about and notice God in new ways. He is here to walk alongside you as you tend to your spirit and soul in whatever ways you need and desire.

A word from one of Bradley’s retreat participants

“[The Retreat] was the perfect gift from the Spirit at the perfect time. Brad’s guidance through carefully selected spiritual practices helped me to slow down and listen, as God spoke to me in fresh ways. Brad fostered a safe and sacred space for sharing, and a Zoom meeting room became holy ground. I am so grateful for this opportunity to pause and go deeper.”
